The pro-Israel world mourned when the great Helen Freedman, z”l, the stalwart longtime co-executive director of American Friends for a Safe Israel (AFSI, a ZOA Coalition org) passed away after the 2020 WZC election. Fortunately, AFSI remains in good hands. Helen’s daughter, AFSI executive director and longtime ZOA Coalition activist Judy Freedman, continues to lead AFSI’s strong pro-Israel advocacy and trips to strengthen the Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria.
