Kenneth Levin, M.D. is a psychiatrist and the author of the classic book, “The Oslo Syndrome: Delusions of a People Under Seige.” Dr. Levin’s book examines Israelis’ and Jews’ irrational self-blame and dangerous concessions to genocidal Arab terrorists. Dr. Levin explains that leftwing Israelis’ irrational responses to Arab terror are akin to the Stockholm Syndrome, in which victims begin to identify with and try to appease their abusers. The Jewish people’s long history of being subjected to persistent abuse resulted in many identifying with and attempting to appease their abusers.
